The purpose of the North Texas Genealogical Association is to promote and preserve genealogical and historical data of Wichita Falls and the surrounding area including Archer, Baylor, Clay, Hardeman, Jack, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger, and Young Counties in Texas.

At this time, the NTGA does NOT have any members doing local archival research. We still may be of assistance with questions concerning area resources.

We meet in person at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Wichita Falls, Texas on the First Thursday of each month (except July) at 7:00 PM. Socializing and potluck-style refreshments begins at 7 PM, Short business meeting begins at 7:30 PM followed by the program. VISITORS ARE WELCOME! (Go around to the back of the church). We also offer a Zoom option to attend virtually. Zoom attendees will be admitted beginning at 7:15pm. Please contact us below for Zoom information.
